About

My goal as a therapist is to help people live more meaningful and connected lives, empowered in their uniqueness. I aim to provide a compassionate, safe and non-judgmental space for you to attend to yourself. You may be seeking therapy to deal with your relationships, anxiety, depression, living abroad, burn-out, crisis of meaning and life purpose, or your life in general, to name but a few.

Naturally, our work will be tailored to your needs and desires. We can work on thought patterns or behaviours that don’t serve you anymore. Or we might want to explore earlier experiences or relationships that are keeping you stuck. I have a holistic, future-focused approach and see the therapist-client relationship as the foundation of good therapy. Together, with mutual respect, confidentiality and compassion, we will work to create awareness, deepen your self-understanding and bring about transformation. Effective therapy must, in time, lead to tangible improvements in the way we live our lives.

The ‘Wkkgz’ is a law to support complaints against malpractice. In the event of a disagreement or complaint with the therapist, you as a client will first receive the support of a complaints officer. If this support proved to be insufficient, you can contact the Disputes Body – SCAG. SCAG is a professional non-commercial dispute resolution body. More Than Therapy is also subject to the VIT complaints procedure, which, as required by Article 13 point 2 of the Wkkgz, has been established in accordance with the representative patient/client organisation, namely ‘Zorgbelang Nederland’. Disciplinary law is regulated by the RBCZ.
